Good packing starts with good materials. We supply strong moving cartons in several sizes, butcher paper, bubble wrap, packing tape and specialty cartons such as portarobes for hanging clothes. You do not need to source boxes from supermarkets the night before.
We bring enough material for the agreed scope so the job is not interrupted by a shortage. If you are doing a partial pack, we can supply materials for the rooms you are handling yourself. Tell us your home size at quote time and we will plan the right quantities.
Kitchens and breakables cause the most damage in a move, so we treat them as specialist work. Our packers wrap plates upright, cushion glassware individually and box stemware in cell cartons. Pots, appliances and pantry items are packed so weight is balanced and nothing crushes what is below it.
The same care applies to fragile items elsewhere, such as picture frames, lamps, ceramics and electronics. Each item is wrapped and padded, and cartons are filled so contents cannot move. This is the difference between a box that travels well and one that does not.
A packed home is only useful if you can find things at the other end. We label every carton with the room it belongs in and a short note on the main contents. Fragile cartons are marked clearly so the crew handles and loads them correctly.
At the new home, labelled cartons go straight to the right room. That makes unpacking faster and stops you opening ten boxes to find the kettle. Good labelling is a small step that saves you hours after move day.
Packing services do not have to end when the truck is loaded. We offer an unpacking service at the new home, where we unpack cartons into rooms and remove the empty boxes so you are not surrounded by cardboard for a fortnight.
We also offer pack-only jobs. If you have your own transport or another mover but want professional packing, we can pack your home without doing the removal. Tell us what you need at quote time and we will scope it as full pack, partial pack, unpack or pack-only.
